Janet Sidebottom, CPT owner of Potomac Dog School, LLC, has over 20 years experience as a personal dog trainer. Janet is a member of International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), the National K-9 Dog Trainers Association, and the Potomac Chamber of Commerce. She helps people learn how to create a leader-follower relationship through gentle humane methods backed by positive reinforcement. Whether it's housebreaking puppies, working to correct dog obedience problems, dog behavior problems or creating a mutually satisfying bond between a pet and its owner, Janet is the expert to contact for all your dog training needs.

Susan E. Burgan, CPT is a partner of Potomac Dog School and a lover of all animals great and small! She graduated from National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in 2001 as a Certified Professional Trainer. Years’ long fascination about therapeutic body work, massage and touch with animals brought her to Canine Kinaesthetics™ with Maryna Ozuna. She is currently in training and looking forward to being certified soon. Canine Kinaesthetics™ is a comprehensive type of body work that has helped relieve pain, discomfort, or restricted movement for over 25 years. It uses a gentle rhythmic in and out movement using specific hand positions and pressure to work on your dog from the inside out. Susan is looking forward to integrating Canine Kinaesthetics™ recuperative properties with Potomac Dog School’s training. She feels blessed to be able to work in this wonderfully therapeutic field of canines!
