Janet Sidebottom, CPT and Susan Burgan, CPT of Potomac Dog School, LLC are Certified Professional Trainers from National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio. Susan Burgan is also a Certified Kinaesthetics Specialist and brings this element as an added dimension to Potomac Dog School. They bring 30 years of experience in the world of dogs to the school.
The concept of the ‘school’ is simple in nature and that is to assist people with their dogs: to help in any way possible for people and dogs to have the most enriched relationships possible.
You will find a multitude of training options for you to choose from. Why? Because we believe there are many successful venues to accomplish your goals, and that “one size does not fit all.”
We also help you sort out: whether or not to get a new or used dog (“green dog” as we say here), what breed, male or female, etc. We also feel it is very important to sit and down and meet each other, so we better know what is the appropriate next step for your dog, you and our school. You will also find we are strong believers in continuing education for ourselves as well as our four legged friends; that’s why we offer lifetime support and a lifetime group class to so many of our programs.
