Dry Food

We only carry healthy dog food made with top of the line ingredients for the best health of your dog. Brands we stock include California Natural, Verus, Innova, Origen, Taste of the Wild, Evo, and Arcana. We recommend our foods; they are tried and tested. In fact, we feed our own dogs California Natural. Not sure what to feed your dog, or are you interested in switching their diet? Feel free to ask us about our food recommendations; we have foods for all sorts of dogs: puppies, adults, small breed, large breed, you name it.

Canned Food

In addition to our dry food, we carry some of the best canned foods on the market, with enough flavor variation to please even the most finicky dog. Our brands are Merrick, Innova, Before Grain, California Natural, Taste of the Wild, and Verus. We also carry a pumpkin digestive supplement, which regulates digestive tract function and calms the gut. If your dog is experiencing diarrhea or constipation, canned pumpkin is the perfect remedy.

If we don’t have your preferred brand or flavor, just ask us to place an order.

Treats

Our treats are some of the highest quality available, just like our food, with only the best brands. Several of our products are organic, holistic, and some are even human-grade. Ask us for our recommendations, or to find something for your specific needs. Great for training, or just as an indulgence. We carry brands such as Charlee Bear, Ark Natural, Zukes, Cloud Star, Darford, Pure Bites, California Natural, Sam’s Yams veggie rawhide, Buddy Biscuits, Merrick 5 star.

Meat/Bone Chews

We have several meat and bone based chews available for dogs who love to chew. Most of these are stainless, odorless, and all of them are dog-safe. For softer chewers we have Free Range bully sticks- a rawhide alternative. Rawhide is cow skin, which is not digestible and can harm a dog. Our bully sticks are made from dehydrated muscle tissue, they are completely digestible and dogs love their taste. They do not leave residue and they do not stink. We have them in a variety of sizes. If your dog goes through bully sticks too fast, we have tendons, which are more durable and last longer. For dogs who REALLY love to chew, we have antlers- we haven’t met a dog who doesn’t love them. They last a long time, break off in small pieces, and also are a great source of calcium. There are also bone treats available, flavored and unflavored.

Soft Toys

We have tons of soft toys in all sorts of styles. We’ve got truly soft toys, which are good for the dog who likes to cuddle up with his or her plush toys, and we’ve got Tuffie and Mighty variety toys, which are for dogs who tend to destroy softies. Most of the toys are machine washable, and several have squeakers. Amongst the brands we stock are PetRagious, Sock Pals, Loopies, Vo Toys, Go Dog, Loofa Dog, Very Important Pet (VIP), West Paw, my Good Dog, Flappy, Chewish Treats, and Simply Fido.

The more durable Tuffie and Mighty toys are rated on a toughness scale- 1-10, higher being more durable. Most of our toys are 7-9 in toughness rating. We’re always willing to order higher rated toys if you need.

Traditional/Hard Toys

Our more traditional/hard toys are anything from squeak toys, balls, Frisbees, kong-shaped toys, floating toys, and other things beside. Things to chew on, things to chase, even things to cuddle with- you name it, we’ve got it. Amonst our most popular items are West Paw’s Hurly, which floats and is made of completely recycled items; Planet Dog’s Orbee-tuff, a floating ball-toy which resists most chewer’s attempts to destroy it; and Jolly balls, which can come with a handle, are durable and bouncy. Brands we stock are Planet Dog, Jolly Pets, JW, Star-Mark, West Paw, Charming pet, Chuckit, Vibram, and Kong.

For Puppies!

We have a special section set aside for dogs under five months old, toys specifically made for puppies and their needs. Amongst these are chews for teething pups, and soft toys for a puppy’s comfort. PetStages makes a wonderful puppy pillow that contains a sound device inside. This device mimics the sound of a littermate’s heartbeat. There’s also several sorts of chews for teething dogs- from kong toys, kong binkies, kong stuffers, and teething sticks, to teething rings and keys.

Brands we stock are PetStages, Planet Dog’s Orbee-tuff line, Nylabone, Kong puppy, Spot, Chilly bone, and PetRagious.

Interactive Games

Want to challenge your dog? Have a dog that’s really smart? We have a number of interactive games that stimulate dog’s senses and get them thinking. Most of the games can have treats hidden inside of them, and the dog has to try a series of things to get the treats out. We carry Nina Ottoson games, Mike toys, and Canine Genius toys. Nina Ottoson games are very much like board-based puzzles, where a treat is hidden and the dog has to move pieces in various ways to dislodge the treat. It’s a very rewarding challenge, and tons of fun to watch. The Mike toys and Canine Geniuses are made of a durable, flexible material, in which you can hide treats. The dog must roll the toy around, press it, and find other ways to get the treats out. Dogs love them, regardless of if there’s treats inside or not.

Collars & Leads

Our selection of collars is massive, with all sorts of colors and patterns to choose from. All of them are durable and effective, most are nylon. We can special order anything if you don’t see the pattern you want. We carry most sizes- Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large, and some Extra-small. Designers we carry are Douglass Paquette, Elmo’s Closet, Bella Bean, Up Country, Fox & Hound, Preston Leathers, & Canine Styles. We also have Up Country harnesses, and harnesses by Puppia specifically designed for small dogs, so as not to put pressure on their more fragile trachea.

We have matching leads for most of our collars, by our collar designers. We also have plain nylon leads, braided nylon slip leads. We carry leather leads, which are softer on the hands then nylon. Most of our leads are 5-6’, but we also stock 10’ nylons, and 30’ long lines.

Beds & Mats

We stock several sorts of crate pads and mats, to make the bottom of a dog’s crate into a soft and comfortable place. Most are completely washable and fairly durable, all are comfortable. They can, of course, be used inside or outside of crates, or just as comfortable floor throws for dogs to lay on. They come in a variety of sizes, from small to large dog, so there’s something for everyone. We also carry beds, if you’re looking for something softer or a with a little bit more support. We stock West Paw, Nanospheres Dog Gone Smart, and Mutt Matts products.

We carry Dog Gone Smart pads and beds, as well- these use nanotech in their making to repel water and dirt, and thus do not get stained and contaminated as many beds do. Water just slides right off of them.

Clothes

Whether it’s winter or summer, we’ve got clothes for all occasions. Stylish and effective, we stock them in a number of sizes- small, medium, large, and extra large. Need a size or style we don’t have? We’re willing to order the right size for your pooch if we haven’t got it in stock. We have lighter jackets and heavy quilted jackets for winter. All jackets are weatherproof. We stock West Paw and Nanosphere’s Dog Gone Smart clothing products.

The Dog Gone Smart products are made using the same nanotech tech as the Dog Gone Smart beds, and similarly resist water and contaminants. Liquid slides right off of them, so they don’t get stained and bacteria find nothing to grow on.

For The Home

We have a number of useful and decorative objects for the home, including designer grates made of wood and stainless steel to keep your dog out of rooms you don’t want them in. We also carry doormats, decorative leash hooks, and some items of accent furniture.

We carry Poochie Bells- these are jingle bells mounted on lengths of decorative ribbon which hang on a door knob. A dog can be trained to ring these when he or she needs to go out, alerting you. They are pleasant sounding, and come in a variety of patterns.

Dishes

We stock a number of useful dishes for feeding and watering your dog. We have DuraPet Bowl Stainless Steel dishes, which are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Have a dog that eats too fast? Brake-fast bowls have three pillars in the center of them to space the food apart and prevent your dog from eating it all at once- the dog has to work around pillars.

Travel Care

Safety is important when traveling, especially when you’re traveling in your car. Dogs under 10lbs should be crated, but what about your bigger dogs? For those dogs, we offer ziplines and harnesses for car travel- the zip lines attach to seat belts, head rests, and handlebars, and go across the width of the car. Included is a harness which attaches to the zip line- this gives the dog limited freedom of movement, and provides safety in case of an accident- the dog will not go flying and hit the windshield. We also sell the harnesses separately, for growing puppies. We have long mats which can be spread across a back seat, as a hammock or just a seat cover. It resists weather and dirt, and prevents hair from getting into the leather or upholstery. Also available are collapsible bowls and water bottles.

Grooming Supplies

We offer several sorts of maintenance and grooming tools, for keeping your dog’s coat in tip-top shape between baths and trips to the groomer. We have natural, holistic shampoo by Tropiclean, a green company. We have furminator brushes, and Furminator bath-less shampoo. It’s a spray-on cleaner which doesn’t have to be rinsed, great for occasional dirty spots and groom touch ups. We offer wipes by Nature’s Miracle and Clean Coat. We also have superabsorbent towels, specifically designed to pull as much water out of a dog’s coat as possible when toweling off.

Dental Care

Teeth are very important to a dog’s health, even though they’re normally overlooked. Maintaining your dog’s teeth will help them live a longer, more comfortable life. We offer Toothpaste and Brush combos, made by Petrodex. The brush is double-headed, featuring a long head and a short head.

While we do recommend regular teeth brushing, we also have treats that support dental health between brushings. Breath-Less makes one line of treats called Brushless Toothpaste, which is ridged and hard enough to scrape teeth while being pliable enough not to hurt gums. They also protect against bad breath. Also by breath-less is a tasteless, odorless water additive which fights plague buildup.

Vitamins & Supplements

Want to make sure your dog is getting all the nutrients he or she needs? Supplements are frequently given alongside food to round out a dog’s nutritional intake. They help keep a dog healthy, and they can modify and curb unwanted behavior.

We carry Virbac, Pet Natural, Ark Natural, & Naturvet products . We have a daily multivitamin, a salmon oil supplement which brightens coat, bladder aid, and even a supplement which helps prevent lawn discoloration. We carry several joint-relief supplements, and daily multivitamins for senior dogs. We have anti-hairball-aids for cats, and treats that calm dogs down. We also have Greenie’s pill pockets, in which pills can be hidden, and a coprophagia deterrent.

Dogtra’s MAP Policy: Starting January 1st, 2007 Dogtra Company will now be strictly enforcing MAP. This notice has occurred due to the high complaints of dealers not abiding to MAP. Any dealer not complying with MAP will be given three verbal/written warnings. After receiving these three warnings, dealers still not in compliance with MAP will have a month suspension or until MAP has been complied. If within that month period you have not complied with MAP, then dealership will be terminated.
